Grain Logistics: Direct Exports to Egypt and a Revived Partner Network
A 7,000-tonne wheat shipment from Danube ports to Egypt delivered a result $6/t better for the seller than FOB. At the same time, companies’ experience shows that the benefits of direct sales depend on a full logistics cost calculation, while export success requires access to routes and a partner network.
